Dr. Katherine A. Ward DPM, DABPS Dr. Ward was raised in Nyack, and received her B.S. degree in Biology from Albany Sate University. She received her podiatric medical degree from the New York college of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at the Catholic Medical Center in Queens, New York. She then joined the United States Army and worked as Captain at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1992-1995. During that time she was promoted to Chief of the Podiatry Department of that hospital. She was also assigned to Darnall Army Hospital in Killeen Texas where she served as Chief of the Podiatry section. Dr. Ward has been caring for patients in Rockland County for the past 13 years. She is also an Associate Professor at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she has worked for the past 13 years. She is a published author and has lectured nationally on a wide range of topics. Dr. Ward is on staff at Nyack Hospital and Rockland Psychiatric Center, and also serves as a police surgeon for the Rockland County PBA. She works at the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose on the Board of Visitors, where she helps insure quality care for all veterans. She is also a member of the American Legion Post in New City. Dr. Ward resides in Blauvelt with her husband and two children.
